Machine Vision
How We Support Machine Vision
Machine vision fails in ways that look like software problems but are usually cabling problems: a shield that opens under flex, a connector that shifts a fraction of a millimetre, an impedance mismatch that shows up as dropped frames at high line rates. NEXDOT builds camera and sensor assemblies with that failure mode explicitly in mind.
For GigE Vision, USB 3.0 and M12-to-RJ45 camera links we use shielded constructions with controlled impedance and locking connectors, so the cable stays electrically stable across long runs and moving gantries. Where the camera rides a robot arm or a linear axis, the same assemblies are built drag-chain rated for continuous flex.
Custom lengths, right-angle and low-profile overmoulds, and hybrid builds that combine camera data with power or trigger lines in one jacket are all standard work for us — reducing cable count on arms and inside enclosures, which is often where the actual assembly time is lost.
Assemblies are 100% electrically tested before shipment and CE, RoHS and REACH compliant. Send a drawing, a photo or an existing cable: 5-minute quotations, 3-day samples, and flexible MOQs from prototype camera rigs to volume inspection lines.
